Running your own Ethereum validator requires exactly 32 ETH and the hardware to operate it. Pooled staking removes both barriers. You deposit any amount of ETH into a staking vault, the vault pools it with other stakers, and professional node operators run the validators. Your share of the rewards is added to your balance. DYXY’s pooled staking is powered by StakeWise, the same infrastructure behind MetaMask’s pooled staking.

How it works

  1. You deposit ETH into a StakeWise vault from your wallet.
  2. The vault pools deposits and activates new 32 ETH validators as it fills.
  3. Node operators run the validators and earn consensus and execution rewards.
  4. Rewards accrue to your balance, net of the vault’s fee. Your staked balance grows over time.

Stake

1

Open pooled staking

Go to Earn → Staking → Pooled.
2

Enter an amount

Stake any amount of ETH. DYXY shows the current APY and the expected yearly rewards.
3

Confirm

Confirm the deposit in your wallet. Your stake starts earning as soon as the vault activates it.

Unstake

Unstaking from Ethereum is not instant. Exits go through Ethereum’s validator exit queue.
1

Request an unstake

Click Unstake and choose an amount, all or part of your stake. DYXY shows the estimated waiting time.
2

Wait for processing

Your request shows as Unstaking. This usually takes a few days, and longer when many validators are exiting the network. Your ETH keeps earning rewards while it waits.
3

Claim

When the status changes to Ready to claim, click Claim and confirm. Your ETH, including the rewards earned while waiting, returns to your wallet.

Pooled or liquid?

Fees

The StakeWise vault takes a fee from rewards, and the APY shown is after that fee. DYXY adds no fee. You pay network gas for staking, unstaking and claiming.
