DYXY trading bots place and manage orders for you, around the clock, following rules you set once. You choose a strategy, a market and your parameters, and the bot does the rest: it buys, sells, takes profit and stops loss without you watching the chart. The bots work like the trading bots on major centralized exchanges, with the same strategies and the same settings. The difference is where they trade: every DYXY bot executes onchain on the Hyperliquid engine (HyperEVM), with deep order book liquidity, rather than on a centralized exchange.

Strategies

DCA bot

Builds a position in steps as the price moves against you, then takes profit when it bounces. Averages your entry.

Grid bot

Places a ladder of buy and sell orders across a price range and profits from every swing inside it.

Spot or leverage

Both strategies run either on spot, buying and selling the actual asset, or on futures, with leverage and the option to go long or short. See Spot and futures bots.

Bots balance

Bots trade from their own bots balance, held in Hyperliquid contracts. Before you start your first bot, deposit funds into it from your wallet. The bots balance is separate from your perps balance and your Degen balance.

Create a bot

1

Open Trading bots

Go to Trading bots in the main menu.
2

Choose a strategy and market

Pick DCA or Grid, then pick spot or futures and the market, for example BTC/USDC.
3

Set parameters

Fill in the strategy settings. See DCA bot and Grid bot for what each one does.
4

Allocate funds

Enter the investment amount from your bots balance. The bot shows the size of each order and the total funds required.
5

Review and start

Check the summary, including the estimated profit per order and the price range, and confirm.
Funds you allocate to a bot are reserved for it until you stop the bot. On stop, unused funds and any open position, depending on your stop settings, return to your bots balance.

Fees

Bots pay the standard DYXY trading fee on every order they fill, plus funding on futures bots. There is no subscription and no fee for creating or stopping a bot. A referral code lowers bot trading fees by 10%. See Fees.
A bot follows its rules whatever the market does. It does not know when a trend has changed. Set a stop loss on every bot, and check running bots regularly in Managing bots.
