Supplying is the simplest way to earn on Lend. You deposit an asset, borrowers pay interest to use it, and that interest is added to your balance continuously.

Supply an asset

1

Open Earn Interest

Go to Earn → Lend and open the Earn Interest tab.
2

Pick a market

Compare the supply APY, protocol, network and available liquidity, then click Deposit on the market you want.
3

Enter an amount

The deposit window shows your wallet balance, the current APY and your estimated yearly earnings.
4

Approve and confirm

Approve the token the first time you supply it, then click Confirm and sign the transaction.
You receive a receipt for your deposit, for example an aToken on Aave or a vault share on Morpho. Its value grows as interest accrues. DYXY shows your deposit and interest earned in the Lend page and in your Portfolio.

How interest is earned

Interest accrues every block, not once a month. Your balance grows continuously, and you can see the Interest earned counter rise in real time. Example. You supply 10,000 USDC at a 6% supply APY. After one month, your balance is about 10,049 USDC. After a year, about 10,600 USDC, if the rate stays the same.

Withdraw

Click Withdraw on your deposit, enter an amount and confirm. Your assets and the interest earned return to your wallet.
You can only withdraw what is not currently lent out. If a market is close to 100% borrowed, withdrawals may have to wait until borrowers repay or new lenders arrive. Very high utilization pushes interest rates up sharply, which quickly brings this liquidity back.

Supplying as collateral

On most markets, the assets you supply can also serve as collateral for a loan. Supplying alone carries no liquidation risk. Liquidation can only happen once you borrow against your supply. See Borrowing.
