# FAQ

> Answers to common questions about DYXY.

## General

> **What is DYXY?**
>
> DYXY is an onchain aggregator. In one app, you can swap tokens on eight networks, trade perps and tokenized stocks, run trading bots, provide liquidity, stake and lend.

> **Is DYXY custodial?**
>
> No. You trade from your own wallet and sign every transaction yourself. Funds go directly to the protocols and trading engines DYXY integrates. DYXY never holds your assets or your keys.

> **Do I need to create an account?**
>
> No. Connecting a wallet is all you need. There is no sign-up, no email and no password.

> **Which networks are supported?**
>
> Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Arbitrum, Base, HyperEVM, Avalanche and Robinhood Chain. See [Supported networks](https://docs.dyxy.io/getting-started/networks.md).

> **Which wallets can I use?**
>
> Popular EVM and Solana wallets, including MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, OKX Wallet, Rabby, Phantom and any WalletConnect wallet. See [Supported wallets](https://docs.dyxy.io/getting-started/wallets.md).

## Fees

> **How does DYXY make money?**
>
> Only through trading fees, a percentage of the volume you trade on swaps, perps, stocks and bots. There are no deposit, withdrawal or subscription fees, and no fee on pools, staking or lending.

> **How can I pay lower fees?**
>
> Join with a referral code to get 10% off every trading fee. See [Trader discount](https://docs.dyxy.io/referrals/trader-discount.md).

> **Why did I pay gas on a failed transaction?**
>
> Network fees pay validators for processing a transaction, whether it succeeds or not. A failed swap costs only gas. Your tokens stay in your wallet.

## Trading

> **Why did my swap fail?**
>
> Usually because the price moved beyond your slippage tolerance, you ran out of gas, or the token charges a transfer tax. See [Market orders](https://docs.dyxy.io/trade/swap/market.md#if-a-swap-fails).

> **What is the difference between Perps V1 and V2?**
>
> Both run on the same engine with the same positions and up to 100x leverage. V1 is simplified for quick trades. V2 is a full terminal with an order book, advanced orders and margin modes. See [Perps overview](https://docs.dyxy.io/trade/perps/overview.md).

> **How do I get 1000x leverage?**
>
> Turn on Degen mode in Perps V1. It supports BTC and ETH with up to 1000x leverage on a dedicated engine. See [Degen mode](https://docs.dyxy.io/trade/perps/degen-mode.md).

> **Do I own real shares when I buy tokenized stocks?**
>
> You own a token issued by a tokenization provider, backed 1:1 by a real share held in custody. It tracks the share's price, but usually gives no voting rights. See [Stocks overview](https://docs.dyxy.io/trade/stocks/overview.md).

> **Where do trading bots execute?**
>
> On the Hyperliquid engine (HyperEVM), on spot or with leverage. See [Trading bots overview](https://docs.dyxy.io/bots/overview.md).

## Earn

> **Why is my liquidity position not earning?**
>
> It is probably out of range. Concentrated liquidity only earns fees while the price is inside your range. See [Concentrated liquidity](https://docs.dyxy.io/earn/pools/concentrated-liquidity.md).

> **How long does unstaking take?**
>
> It depends on the asset: about 2 days for SOL, 7 days for HYPE, the end of your chosen period for AVAX, and a few days for ETH through StakeWise. Liquid staking tokens can also be sold instantly. See [Staking overview](https://docs.dyxy.io/earn/staking/overview.md).

> **Why can't I withdraw my full lending deposit?**
>
> The market may be almost fully borrowed. You can withdraw as soon as borrowers repay or new lenders supply. See [Supplying assets](https://docs.dyxy.io/earn/lend/supply.md).

## Contact

> **How do I contact the team?**
>
> Reach the team through the official channels listed in [Official links](https://docs.dyxy.io/resources/links.md). The DYXY team will never DM you first and will never ask for your seed phrase or private key.
