# Managing positions

> Add to, adjust, claim from and remove your liquidity positions.

Your liquidity positions are listed under **Earn → Pools → My positions** and in your [Portfolio](https://docs.dyxy.io/portfolio/overview.md), across every protocol and network.

## Position details

| Field | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Status** | In range or out of range |
| **Range** | The lower and upper price of the position |
| **Current price** | The pool's price now |
| **Liquidity** | The current value of the position and the amount of each token in it |
| **Unclaimed fees** | Trading fees earned and not yet collected |
| **Rewards** | Farming rewards earned, where the pool offers them |
| **APR** | The estimated return of your position with its current range |

## Actions

> **Increase liquidity**
>
> Add more funds to the same position, in the same range. You can zap in with any token.

> **Claim fees and rewards**
>
> Collect your earned fees and rewards into your wallet without touching the liquidity.

> **Compound**
>
> Reinvest your earned fees into the position in one transaction, so they start earning too.

> **Reposition**
>
> Move the position to a new price range, for example after the price has left your range. DYXY withdraws, rebalances and adds the liquidity back in one transaction.

> **Remove liquidity**
>
> Withdraw part or all of the position. Unclaimed fees are collected at the same time. You can receive the pool's two tokens in their current ratio, or **zap out** into a single token of your choice.

## When to reposition

Consider moving the range when:

* The price has left your range and you expect it to stay out.
* The price is close to an edge of your range and you want to stay active.
* Volatility has changed and your range is now too narrow or too wide.

Every reposition costs gas and, if a rebalance is needed, a swap. On Ethereum mainnet, adjust less often than on layer 2 networks.

> [!TIP]
>
> Claim and compound on a schedule that matches your position size. On small positions, gas can cost more than the fees you collect.
