# Managing bots

> Monitor, adjust and stop your running bots.

All your bots are listed under **Trading bots → My bots** and in your [Portfolio](https://docs.dyxy.io/portfolio/overview.md).

## Bot overview

Each running bot shows:

| Field | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Strategy and market** | For example, Grid · BTC/USDC · Futures 3x |
| **Investment** | Funds allocated to the bot |
| **Total PnL** | Realized plus unrealized profit and loss, in USD and percent |
| **Realized profit** | Profit locked in by completed grid pairs or closed DCA rounds |
| **Runtime** | How long the bot has been running |
| **Status** | Running, waiting for trigger, out of range, or stopped |

Open a bot to see its open orders, filled orders, current position, average entry price and, for futures bots, liquidation price and funding paid.

## Bot statuses

| Status | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Waiting for trigger** | The bot is created but waits for the trigger price |
| **Running** | The bot is placing and filling orders |
| **Out of range** | A grid bot's price is outside its range. It resumes when the price returns |
| **Stopped** | Stopped by you, by a take-profit or stop-loss condition, or by an error such as insufficient margin |

## Adjusting a running bot

You can change:

* **Take profit and stop loss**, on both DCA and grid bots.
* **Margin**, on futures bots, to move the liquidation price further away.

To change the core strategy, such as the grid range or the number of safety orders, stop the bot and create a new one.

## Stopping a bot

Click **Stop** on the bot and choose what to do with its holdings:

* **Close position.** The bot sells its holdings or closes its futures position at market, and returns everything to your bots balance in the quote currency.
* **Keep position.** The bot cancels its open orders and leaves the position or asset in your bots balance for you to manage.

Stopping a bot cancels all of its open orders. Completed trades and realized profit stay in your history.
